We are SO very pleased to introduce to you the first EVER
Riverwood Local Fest
This festival is focusing on all things local. Local farmers, entertainment, businesses, builders, and our great community! We need your help too! We are going to be doing a VERY heavy campaign to get the word out, but we also will need your help sharing the date with your friends, both on facebook and beyond! The Riverwood Local Fest will be on April 30th from 9am to 3pm (tentatively) and we have some awesome contributors involved. This event is being put on by Riverwood Plantation, Augusta Locally Grown, and Augusta's Choice! So look for more information to come. We will establish a fanpage/event on Facebook and will be sure to post that on our wall (hint.. click here) once it's established. Some of the early names we want to mention involved:
- 15 Truly Local Farmers (Names to come) with more being added
- A number of local restaurants
- Community Groups
- Kackleberry Farm
- Family Activities
- Children's Activities
- 3 Fire stations making a special appearance
- Tara Scheyer and the Mud Puppy Band
- And So MUCH MORE!
